Theory: Moon contributes to Earthquakes

In addition to all of the conventional causes of Earthquakes an additional contributor to Earthquakes is the Moon. Much the same way that the Moon impacts the tides,

the Moon has an impact on the molten outer core of the Earth.

Thus since the mantle, upper mantle and crust (tectonic plates) rest on the outer core, when the outer core moves or shifts they eventually must move or shift. While there are lots of factors that lead to the tectonic plate shifts one of them is the Moon’s influence on the liquid outer core which has yet to considered by the mainstream scientific community.
